Whiteline Suspension Clinic - Wakefield Park 12th March 2002.

What was it all about?

To show people what is possible to achieve even on a budget if you use the right information and parts. And, to showcase our products to participating and prospective export clients in North America and Asia. It was an inaugural event and judging by the feedback, looks like it may be repeated in the future.

Suspension is not unlike any other area of performance mods, at best you get what you pay for but at worst you get even less. And this dose not mean spend a lot to get a lot. You can spend a moderate amount and get 99% of the way there if you deal with people that know what they are doing. This is even relevant in the area of trade and wholesale as Australia is increasingly seen as a competitive source of smart products and solution that offer exceptional value for money.

Whiteline are not the only suspension people in Australia, nor are they necessarily the smartest but no one offers better value for money performance outcomes across all budgets. Being a solutions based company, Whiteline support all their products with technical fact and will happily tell you why it does what it does and how it applies to your situation.

Who was there?

A tight group of paying customers and their cars, ready to drive and be driven on the circuit with the support of one of our suspension experts. At this clinic, an additional 4 latecomers oversubscribed the target of 25.

Whiteline had 6 suspension experts on hand to drive, evaluate and make recommendations on a suspension tuning strategy to suit the driver, vehicle, intended purpose and budget. With numbers being deliberately kept low, this included up to an hour of one-on-one time. Being experienced race drivers, many of Whiteline's suspension experts also advised on race craft and how to make the most of your setup. Some names and details:

Here what some people had to say about the day.

  • Jae Debrincat - Definitely worthwhile - still grinning - count me in for the next one.
  • Alex Richardson - The day was one of the best I have spent at a race track!
