"Smart solutions for performance alignment
problems"
Your car is made to a compromise. A compromise of quality,
price and performance. The fact is that manufacturers tolerances are very
broad, too broad for optimum performance and tyre wear. All your tricky
springs and shocks etc. could be wasted if your wheel alignment is not at
its best.
Whitelines camber kits, caster adjusters, adjustable
radius rods and trailing arm conversions may not be as aesthetically
pleasing as some bolt on aftermarket products, but they work and work
well.
So what do they do and why are they important?
Camber - Proper camber adjustment is essential for tyre wear and
performance. For example, use Whitelines camber bolt kits to overcome OE
shortcomings. While strut braces ensure that the camber stays the way you
set it while driving hard. See the other camber solution inside the
applications list like adjustable strut tops. Toe - Another tyre
wear issue and an under valued performance tunning resource. Proper toe
adjustment can transform turn-in from "limp" to
"alive" Whitelines unique dual angle shims allow combined toe
and camber change on otherwise non-adjustable rear ends like Barina. Caster
- There's no such thing as too much positive caster for performance
driving. It also means crisper more precise steering with no adverse
effects on tyre wear. A true performance bargain. Adjustable radius rods,
caster adjusting bushes all strive to deliver major handling improvements. Whiteline's famous Subaru anti-lift kit part number
KCA319A, also adds positive caster for improved turn-in and steering
precision.

Whiteline are introducing a new range of adjustable rear control arms
for Subaru Impreza, WRX and Sti. The broadest range on the market with
models to suit sedan and wagon reflecting the different rear tracks.
Avoids excessive rear swaybar link pre-load and failure found with other
brands while using stronger than OE link mounts. This is another cause of
excessive flex and premature failure with some other brands. Whiteline
kits are specifically engineered for serious use and larger swaybars. Use
KTA107 as an economical solution to lack of rear toe adjustment
particularly on GD-GH (MY01on) series. This kit is supplied as 2x
adjustable front arms and matching rear arm poly bushes. KTA108 and KTA109
feature 4 complete adjustable arms with performance low compliance bushes.
- Impreza GC-GF (MY94-00)
Control arm - adjustable toe KTA107. 2x front arms and 4x poly bushes
for rear arms.
Control arm - adjust. toe/camber KTA108. 4x complete arms with bushes.
- Impreza GD-GH (MY01 on)
Control arm - adjustable toe KTA107. 2x front arms and 4x rear bushes
Control arm - adjust. toe/camber KTA108. 4x complete arms - wagon
Control arm - adjust. toe/camber KTA109. 4x complete arms - sedan
"There's no such thing as too much chassis
stiffness!"
Chassis
Bracing - Weight aside, the more the better. Chassis bracing
maintains alignment angles and spring rates by greatly reducing body or
chassis flex. In fact, it helps every component in the suspension system
do its job properly. Race cars have elaborate roll cages not just to
protect the occupant, a good proportion of its job is to stiffen the
chassis. Critical for serious performance and essential for any car with
up rated springs, shocks or swaybars.
You'll even feel the difference in a standard car.
Depending on the location, expect improved turn-in, sharper steering
response along with greater feedback. There are many different types, the
most common being strut tower braces. The range also includes lower
control arm braces, extra heavy-duty swaybar mounts and rear sub frame lock
kits.
Adjustable Radius Rods.
When too much caster is never enough! Whiteline like
to add positive caster to relieve some of the demand for negative camber
when you don't need it. There's a range to cover many applications like
Commodore and Honda allowing for sensible addition of positive caster at
the lower mount point which is often preferable to using the strut top or
upper mount.
Some kits come with upgrade options. For example KRR207 is
available as a single rod to add up to +2.0 positive caster to one side
when fixing bent or deformed K frames. Or you can use KRR207X kit for a
true performance solution containing 2 rods and 2 new low compliance
polyurethane radius rod bushes.

Other stuff - Whiteline's has unique solutions for many specific
problems. Adjustable trailing arms to correct pinion angle, adjustable panhard
rods for raised and lowered vehicles, anti-lift kits to reduce understeer and
much more. And let's not forget the biggest range of alloy adjustable strut
braces in the country.
The bottom line is greatly improved handling and improved tyre
wear.

Commodore Rear Adjustable Trailing Arms - Our kits let you maximise traction and
minimise power loss by correcting drive shaft pinion angles. Every height
change to the rear of a live axle Commodore will change the drive shaft pinion angle and trailing arm geometry.
This change will typically introduce a more acute angle at the rear
universal which robs engine power while causing excessive wear and
drive-train vibration. It also changes the trailing arm angles which can
lead to reduced rear "squat" which is fundamental to clean, fast
and wheel spin free launches.
Part number KTA103 is supplied in kit form with 2 arms complete with
low compliance poly bushes to minimise distortion under load. Suits all
live axle Commodores from VB to VS.
Adjustable Panhard Rods - are almost mandatory when changing ride height.
